What Did GladTeknik Need Help With?

GladTeknik needed help with automating the collection of Jotform responses. They wanted that everytime they had a new response to the Jotform they had been using, a new Trello card must be created automatically.

How Did Cloudify Approach It?

Working with JotForm – JotForm is a free online form builder and form creator. The newly redesigned JotForm lets you build forms faster than ever, with powerful widgets and a responsive editor that works offline—without even needing to sign up for an account. GladTeknik was already using Jotform to collect responses from _________. They had Jotform forms setup on their __________ for ______. 

Apart from that, they were using Trello for project management.

An automation was set up between Jotform and Trello using Zapier.

How did it work?

  1. A new submission was added to their JotForm
  2. <Zapier> automation creates a new Trello card matching the submission, on a board and list of their choice

Thus, once the automation was set up, there was no need to copy and paste data from JotForm into Trello. This JotForm-Trello integration created a Trello card whenever there was a new form submission, starting as soon as we activated it.

Post Setting Up the Automation

The following issues were resolved:

  • Manually creating Trello cards for new JotForm submissions
  • Delay in the process due to human limitations
  • No backlog of entries received on the weekend
  • No scope of errors
